I am on the hunt for the right location for my shop. My focus is currently in the NEON (Arts) District in Norfolk. I looked at a location today, two stories, brick, has its own parking, corner lot, big window on two sides. I walked in and could tell instantly it wasn’t the right place. The building externally had a lot of character, but inside it was just blah. The downstairs was huge, but a big part of it was useless space for retail and connected to the upstairs, which may be rented out separately. Just not the right fit yet. I walked around the Arts District and looked to see what was currently available or looked to be available soon. I have several more possibilities there to check out. I will know the place when I see it.
